George has been in the hair industry for nearly 20 years. With the knowledge and skill level he has gained over the years

he is a huge asset to our team! George specializes in Men’s haircut techniques and Men’s grooming! He will also be leading our barbering side of Mint and can’t wait to share his wealth of knowledge.  He  loves camping, spending time with family and playing with their puppy, Maggie Mae.

Mandy's hair industry journey began at the age of 5 back in Winfield, Iowa where she grew up in her mother's beauty salon in their home. Her personal style is described as classic and edgy. Her attention to detail doesn't go unnoticed and she is a natural at highlighting her clients features.

With over 16 years of experience behind the chair, she thrives on giving her clients the result and experience they are looking for.  If she is not at the salon, you will find her at her girls sporting events or soaking up the rare minute of downtime at home.

Lydia is born and raised in the Iowa city area and has been a part of the hair industry for over 8 years! If she’s not spending her time off with her 3 children and husband, you will find her outside either playing sand volleyball or golfing! She also loves spending time with her family on her parents farm!

Annika is from the Iowa City area and has been in the industry for over 9 years. She most enjoys building close relationships with clientele and helping them achieve their dream hair! She is very passionate about maintaining integrity of hair while working towards the clients’ hair goals! She is OBSESSED with blondes and is also certified in Keratin Smoothing Treatments. Outside of the salon, she enjoys cooking, yoga, and spending quality time with her 5 year old son!

Brittney is born and raised in Iowa and has been in the hair industry for the past 7 years!! Brittney graduated from the Aveda institute in Des Moines she always has wanted to help make people feel their best and brings that energy to her clients! If she’s not in the salon she is hanging with her puppies outside and enjoying time with her friends and family!

Maddison was born and raised in Northeast Iowa and is excited to build her career here at Mint! With just over 2 years of experience, Maddison is passionate about making her clients feel and look their best! When she's not at the salon, she enjoys taking nature walks and spending time with her friends!

Kayla has been doing hair for 10 years and stumbled across her love of men's cuts about 8 years ago. Bald fades are her go-to favorite mens haircut to give, but not her only specialty! When she is not in the salon, she is more than likely watching sports with her family, chasing after her toddler, and taking care of her newborn baby girl.

Kendal is a native from Washington, Iowa.  She is in her 7th year as a hairstylist, specializing in blonding and balayage.  Having had recently moved back from Nashville, TN., she is wanting to build up her clientele here at Mint Salon + Barbering.  Kendal offers tape, halo, and sewing weft extensions on her service menu as well!  For fun, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family and fur babies (dog-Gus, cat-Ted) and binge watching shows on Netflix.
